This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Polldium uses, why, and how you can control them.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, remember your preferences, and provide analytics information to site owners. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which work in the same way.
These cookies are essential for the Service to function. They cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality. No consent is required for these under applicable law.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token | Supabase | Stores your authentication session so you remain logged in between page loads. HttpOnly and Secure — not accessible to JavaScript. | Session / 1 hour (refreshed automatically) |
| sb-*-auth-token-code-verifier | Supabase | PKCE code verifier used during OAuth sign-in (Google, Apple, X, Meta). Deleted immediately after sign-in completes. | Session |
Polldium uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (page views, country of origin, browser type). Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless and does not track individual users across sessions or sites. No consent banner is required for this tool.
Sentry may set a small session identifier in browser storage to correlate errors within a single session. This identifier is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking and is cleared when you close your browser tab.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling the Supabase authentication cookie will log you out and prevent you from signing in.
If we introduce new cookies or tracking technologies we will update this policy and notify you via an in-app notification before the change takes effect.
